A Potential Down Side

Site 3

One issue with having 2 boxes with only one having a cam, what if they choose the box with out the cam? Its a nice problem to have, and there are ways to make one more attractive as a nest. She nested in the cam box last year, (a squirrel took over the box on the purple martin pole). Lately ‘she’ has been hanging out in the martin pole box. It will be interesting to see if goes back to the successful nest site, or what seems to be the preferred roosting location?

pole box 3-9-11 (not bad for an ISO 3200)
